Very interesting video on how an LED lightbulb can be used to transfer or stream large amounts of data by flashing at frequencies that the human eye can’t detect. 

While I find it hard to see it replace the radio masts that we use for phones and the such like Harold Haas mentions in the video, I can see it used in scenarios where one way data transfers are fine. 

Examples being promotion videos on billboards instead of using QR codes and short range data transfer to devices instead of using USB cables.
