Looking for a new business card

Currently lookingBusiness Cards at getting some new business cards made for personal use as my old one (bottom left in the photo) is starting to look dated and a little too ‘studently’ (which is no surprise as I made it not long after my MSc).

The issue I am having is the quality of the card itself rather then the design. Last thing I want is to use poor quality paper when leaving something to remember me by.

Just recently received a sample pack from Moo using the Green paper stock and while the quality of the card is good, it feels too thin and flimsy despite being 352 gsm. The next sample pack I have ordered will be using their standard Classic card which is supposedly a bit stiffer.

The cards I have in my collection vary hugely. One card from IBM is printed on very thin card which is a little surprising given the size of the company. I didn’t think it would be a corner they would cut.

The best quality card I have is the one I received while working at EA. Nice and stiff with a quality smooth finish although I am not sure of the weight.

I also have ordered samples from a few other places in the UK including one that uses 600 gsm. Hopefully I will receive all the samples within the next week or so to compare.
