What have I been up to?
I have been pretty busy over the last couple of weeks as my Lead at work was off for a week and that meant I was in charge for that duration (and since we were a team of two, it meant that I wasn’t in charge of anyone).
During that time, I also managed to accumulate a large number of books given to me from various different sources. Enough to keep me busy for a very long time :). Currently making my way through The Laws of Simplicity recommended from a number of game designers in the games industry.
Also managed to pick up quite a books on management and working environments to see there is anything I can apply and improve in my current one as I am getting a twinge of a feeling of being a cog again which was part of the reason why I left my previous one.
I am hoping I can change that here. The team is small enough to make small, rapid changes, I just need to know what they are and apply them.
